I hope we come up with a different name for this category of products, other than ATA. Yes, it adaptes analog telephone. But adaptes to the PC, meaning it requires an operational PC. Normally, other ATAs are standalone entities, where the needed VoIP software is running.

I hope we eliminate the potential confusion and misrepresentation before it gets established.

Anything that removes the echo that most users get using a headset is most welcome.

Hey If you guys want to check out some cool stuff check out the TeleVoiP Phone and The TeleVoIP Stick. Go to www.multi-link.net. I actually have both products and they work great. Simple plug and play! You would have to be an idiot not to like these products.
